This blog is an exercise in self exploration. Over the course of the last three years, I have managed to completely ruin my life and I have made many mistakes that I can never fix. I am not where I wanted to be at 24… not even close.

This blog is the record of my journey back to myself. It catalogs my thoughts, dreams, actions, and deepest, darkest desires. I will not show this blog to anyone that I know. It is my secret confessional; it is my Pandora’s Box. It is me, reaching out to the world.

I encourage you to comment on my life. I just want to know that I’m not alone.

This blog is taking a different shape than I originally expected it to, but I am more than okay with that. I find that fashion helps me cope with my dilemmas more than whining about them does. I’m having fun, learning about a huge industry and about myself. FASHION is how we illustrate ourselves to the world. It is a form of art, both self expression and self exploration. It is a fantasy, and to write about fashion is to write that fantasy; writing fashion is writing an adventure of getting to know one’s Self and learning how to express oneself to the world. I love the communities I’ve found and all of the wonderful, beautiful and fashionable Fashionistas that I’ve met on my journey thus far, and I look forward to meeting more and getting to know everyone better while I submerge myself entirely in the world of Fashion. I love what I’m doing here, and for the first time in a while I can honestly say that I’m having fun.

There are many things about my life that I am not sure of; one thing I know for certain is that I am going to go back to school to finish my degree in journalism, minoring in something having to do with fashion. My ultimate goal is to work for a fashion magazine like Glamour. I’ve always loved and respected the writing element of the Fashion world, and I have a unique perspective and some interesting ideas that could really add to it. That perspective and those ideas, along with my own style and sense of fashion, are things I hope to hone and explore more here on this blog.
